Topic 1
ABOUT HUMAN NATURE

The question of what human nature is and how we can recognize this nature is probably the most important question of all when it comes to the desire for inner freedom, clarity and change.

On what foundations should clarity, should the desired changes stand, if not on our being, our deep inner core?

The nature of the individual is no different from that of all others. The individual with all his special features, his personal life story, his likes and dislikes is firmly anchored in what defines us all. This is human nature, these are all those qualities that come to us without our own intervention.

Don't we have to know this being first before we can change it? Do we not have to unlearn and discard a lot in order to know it?

To recognize our being in the varied life situations is the beginning and end of our human endeavors for clarity; Freedom and change.
Some key aspects and questions related to this topic of the retreat:

1. Who am I actually? What am I?
2. Why am I here?
3. Is there a methodology for meaningful knowledge? How can I know something is right or wrong?
4. How can I really love?
5. Why do I live with fear?
6. How can I deal with emotions, moods and feelings?
7. What does it mean to be free?
8. The good relationship with myself, with others and with the world.
9. How do love, compassion and freedom come into my life?

Topic 2
MASTER LIFE, LIVE LIFE

We are constantly faced with decisions and challenges that we have often not even faced ourselves. Then these questions arise: How should I evaluate this situation? What should I do? What is right What is the good? What if I fail? How can I achieve my goal? How should I deal with the others? Why am I living with all this stress? Why do I keep living in conflict?
Some key aspects and questions related to this topic of the retreat:

1. What should I do? Why and how
2. Seek advice, give advice, and take advice.
3. How do I bring more attention into my life, more mindfulness, alignment and self-discipline.
4. How can I identify, set and implement the right goals.
5. Why do we make a problem out of everything? And why do we seem to need so many problems?
6. What are conflicts and how can I deal with them?
7. How can I be happy?
8. How can I make the right decisions?

Topic 3
ABOUT CHANGES AND TRANSFORMATION

Life is a single movement, a single dynamic process; it never stands still. However, if everything around me keeps changing, then what am I in all this movement? What can I rely on? Which movements do I go with, where do I evade, which movements do I not want to participate in? What inevitable changes are there?
Some key aspects and questions related to this topic of the retreat:

1. What are changes actually?
2. What do stability and change have to do with each other? Can I be stable and change?
3. What actually changes, what remains?
4. Thought and language, verbal reality and experience reality.
5. The difference between something really 'new' and a mere 'modification' of what already exists.
6. Do we have free will? What is will anyway? What is freedom of choice?
7. Lifetimes and their phases - Continuity and discontinuity of our ego. My past, my present and my future.

Topic 4
ABOUT GOALS, PRIORITIES AND VALUES

What we are and how we describe ourselves is often closely related to what is important to us, to our values, for example. But why are there 'values' at all? And how do I know what is valuable and what is right? What or who should I orient myself to? How can I distinguish the important from the unimportant in my life? And how do I get rid of the unimportant and the large space it takes up in my life?
Some key aspects and questions related to this topic of the retreat:

1. My big goals in life ... What exactly do I want to achieve? And why? What do I do without?
2. What are my real priorities in my life? What do I have substance in?
3. A life between illusion and reality.
4. Illusions, Reality and Truth. How can I tell the difference? What does that mean for my life?
5. Different people have different goals, different priorities, different values. How do I deal with it?
6. My individual goals and values can conflict with society and its ideas. How do I deal with it?

Topic 5
ABOUT KNOWLEDGE, CONTROL, UNCERTAINTY AND THE END

Our mind wants itself and wants to understand the world. In doing so, he moves within the narrow limits of what is recognizable. On the other hand, it is also characterized by a large speculative capacity, which is one of the most important basic skills, for example in technical developments, but is also significant for visions and ideas about the future. His imagination can go unlimited. But what can we actually know? And what can we control? What is our responsibility and what is not?
Some key aspects and questions related to this topic of the retreat:

1. Limited knowledge, imagination and living in illusions.
2. What we choose is crucial: selective or holistic access to knowledge and reality.
3. The future is the past. And without the present there is nothing.
4. The connection between control, security and freedom.
5. Self-realization and responsibility.
6. The connection between love and freedom.
7. What it means to end. And what is death?
8. What is God? Is there a god or not?
9. The connection between fear, hope and spirituality.

The aforementioned main aspects of the individual topics form a framework within which we ask our questions,
to explore and understand the whole of life.
This should result in manageable, practical knowledge for the individual.
This clarity, which has its origin in the right questions, leads to conscious decisions.

What a typical day during the retreat looks like See here...

  • WISDOM | here and now

That is the title of the only program of the B NOW academy. This program, which is always carried out as a retreat, deals exclusively with the desire of many people, their lives and that of others, as well as the embedding of this life in its natural context in a holistic way that is not shaped by any ideology, religion or any special school of thought to understand. Because the individual person - with all his problems, wishes, actions and theories about himself - cannot really be grasped by any of these traditional approaches. The individual person does not benefit from following others if he wants to understand his life and really want to live it.

  • What is practical wisdom?

Recently, more and more scientists, psychologists and academic philosophers have become interested in 'wisdom'. But at universities alone, these efforts are not of much use.
