“It takes an extraordinary courage to be yourself, to be independent in thinking, in feeling, in your whole life. Not being dependent on others internally, not being drifted by the ease of adjustment or by one's fears ...
To lead an independent life that springs from the passion and energy that lies in clarity is the prerequisite for joy and fulfillment ...
To do this, you have to want to be yourself and also want to understand this self that you are. You have to be willing to ask questions; that is where everything else begins ... Not by repeating what others have thought. «
the human mind project
We have various mental faculties within us. If we want to use them, it is beneficial if we develop an understanding of what they are, how they work, and how they interact. Every kind of mental development is based on what access we have to our mental faculties, the entire structure of the mind and the dynamics operating in it.
"Everything we build on it, every spiritual practice, every conception of ourselves, the world and the relationship between the two, every belief, every philosophy and even every simple, perhaps unreflective understanding of the world, is based on this basic structure of our mind and how we understand it . " (Bernhard Kaschek)
Here you can download 5 videos from the HUMAN MIND PROJECT see. They were created during a reatreat for a small group in Germany.

This is what this talk is about, question: »You have repeatedly mentioned how important correct thinking, how important the mind would be for us. I can somehow understand that. Still, it seems to me that there are contradictions within us between the mind and the feelings. That is a very large area, the human mind. Can you please go over this whole subject of what our mind is and how it works? «
- The human mind, part 2/5
That's what this talk is about, question: »What actually is 'thinking', what exactly do you mean by that? Obviously you distinguish between different mental activities. And one of them is thinking, you said. Can you please go into this topic and clarify it? «
- The human mind, part 3/5
This is what this talk is about, question: »What is part of our mind? Obviously, the mind is much more to you than just the so-called 'intellect'. And how do the individual areas of the mind work? How are they related to each other? Can you please explain that? «
